Professional Background

Throughout my career, I’ve helped mission-driven organizations adapt to the changing ways people connect, communicate, and engage. I’ve guided organizations through the shift from traditional outreach to digital-first engagement, data-informed storytelling, and new approaches to building trust and visibility.

My work has been about more than marketing. I’ve also led the strategic and operational backbone that makes this work possible, from long-range planning and governance to streamlining processes, aligning budgets with priorities, and navigating complex projects. Whether it's amplifying program impact or improving internal workflows, I focus on strengthening organizations so they can deliver on their mission.

Community volunteerism and giving back are essential components in my life as I maintain connections and memberships with professional and philanthropic organizations. In addition to a BS in marketing from the University of NC at Charlotte, I earned an MA in English, Technical and Professional Communication from East Carolina University.
